One of the best wine-growing locations in Croatia is situated in the area called Principovac close to the city centre. There are plantation vineyards and a complex of buildings consisting of a summer residence and farm houses in this particular area, that was especially recognized at the time of princes Odescalchi. There is a breathtaking view over Ilok, Syrmia and Bačka from Principovac belvedere. The belvedere and the other farm houses were damaged during the Homeland War and are now being renewed and restored for vine-growing and tourist purposes.

    ILOČKI PODRUMI WERE AWARDED AT CROPAK 2007

    The firm Iločki podrumi received the prestigious prize for the best packaging at the prize-giving ceremony of CROPAK 2007, that took place on the 18th of May, at the Congress Hall of the Jezero Hotel at Plitvička jezera. The prize was given in the category of "the best packaging of a Croatian product/ series" for the whole assortement of Iločki podrumi – wine stickers and packaging.
