Capistran Red

The wine was obtained by combining Frankovka and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties after aging in barrique barrels in the ideal conditions of our Old Cellar from 1450. It is decorated with a deep ruby red colour and fine fruit aromas with notes of blackberry and plum, and gentle tones of smoke and chocolate. The taste is rich, complex, with a harmonious body and soft tannins.

Recommendation

It is served with cold appetizers such as ham, kulen (spicy sausage) fine cheeses, grilled meat, game dishes, pork, and beef.

Serving temeprature

18-20ºC

Vinification

Hand-picked harvest, fermentation with maceration in stainless steel vinificators for a duration of 12-15 days, maturation in oak barrels for 12 months. Afterward, the wine is blended in stainless steel tanks until bottling.

Aging

In 1000-liter wooden barrels and 500-liter oak barrels, for a duration of 12 months.
